NorthStar
A product that has the potential to help anyone, who is willing to try it, regain the agency to forge their lives.
All through my day, at the rhythm I choose, it asks me three questions: What am I doing right now? What would I be doing next? How are these related to my short-term or middle-term programs? If everything is in alignment, I earn a star.
I answer in my own words, and I score myself. No machine judges my answers.
It names what takes my time without asking: the Modern-Day Medusa, the endless feeds built to hold my eyes. And it keeps in front of me what I choose to walk toward: my NorthStar.
Each evening I look back on my day, and each new day I build on the one before. What I write is sealed, designed so that only I can read it.
Every three months, I look at where I stand beside where I can be — and see how much closer my three, five, ten and twenty years have come.
It opens only by invitation, from someone already inside.
ADDENDUM — ADD-ON MODULES
Contents — 6 sections
to the UpWeForge Affiliate Compensation Plan (v1.5), the Affiliate Agreement, and the Terms of Service
Issued by NightEase Solutions LLC (the "Company") under
Compensation Plan §15.6 (prospective amendment on written notice). Effective date: 1 October 2026.
1. Add-on Modules ↑
1.1 An Add-on Module is a digital product offered as an addition to a Product of the UpWeForge universe, made by the
Company or by an outside maker, and admitted by the Company under its Module Charter, which the Company publishes
before it admits any Module.
1.2 A Module is sold as an additional item on the Member's existing subscription, or as a one-time purchase, and may be
removed by the Member at any time in the same way it was added.
1.3 Definitions. In this Addendum: a Member is a person with a paid subscription to a Product; a Creator is a
Member who made a Module admitted under §1.1, or whose work is in a collection under §2.6; a Company Account is an
account held by the Company itself, and every share such an account would earn is retained by the Treasury; the
Treasury is the Company's own account; and Net Profit has the meaning given in §2.3. Other capitalized terms have
the meanings given in the Compensation Plan.
2. Referral Commissions on Modules and Products (amends Plan §5.4 prospectively) ↑
2.1 Network attribution. A Member's referring Affiliate is fixed at the Member's first entry into the UpWeForge
universe and never changes, except for one Product or Module under §3.4. From the effective date, that Affiliate earns a
Referral Commission on every Product and every Company Module (§2.3(a)) the Member purchases, whether or not the
Affiliate presented that Product or Module to the Member, for as long as the Member keeps paying for it. For this
purpose, a Member attributed to an Affiliate under this §2.1 or under §3.4 is that Affiliate's "Direct Referral" within
the meaning of Plan §2, and the words "no lifetime override" in Plan §5.4 do not apply to this §2.1. A subscription
attributed to an Affiliate under Plan §5.4 before the effective date remains with that Affiliate. Creator Modules are
shared under §2.3(b) and §2.6.
2.2 One level, and the Creator's Helper. No commission is ever paid on purchases by persons referred by the Member,
on recruitment, or on enrollment, except the Creator's Helper's share of a Creator Module under §2.3(b), which rewards the
Affiliate who brought the Creator into the UpWeForge universe. Every payment traces to a real Member's paid purchase of
something the Member uses.
2.3 The Module share. A Module's Net Profit for a period is its price paid, less refunds, chargebacks and taxes
collected, less payment-processing fees, less its direct running cost (usage of third-party services attributable to it,
by the formula recorded at admission). Net Profit is shared equally among the parties who put in the effort:
(a) for a Module made by the Company: fifty percent (50%) to the Member's referring Affiliate as the Referral Commission
and fifty percent (50%) to the Company's Treasury;
(b) for a Module made by a Creator (a Member who made it and whose Module was admitted): one third (1/3) to the
Creator, one third (1/3) to the Affiliate who referred the Creator into the UpWeForge universe (the Creator's Helper),
and one third (1/3) to the Treasury. The Member's own referring Affiliate earns no share of a Creator Module; that
Affiliate's reward is the Referral Commission on the Products that Affiliate referred.
Where a share has no recipient (no Helper, or a Helper that is a Company Account), it is retained by the Treasury; any
indivisible cent is retained by the Treasury. No party earns on its own purchase.
For Products without meaningful direct cost, the Commission remains fifty percent (50%) of Commissionable Subscription
Revenue under Plan §5.1.
2.4 A Module is admitted only where its Net Profit covers its direct cost with a margin that the Company determines and
records at admission.
2.5 What stays, and the one exception. Plan §§ 3 (free enrollment), 6 (no purchase to qualify), 9 (when Earned),
10 (recovery), 13 (no earnings representations) and 14.2 (effect of termination) apply unchanged. The Compensation Cap
(Plan §5.6) applies to every share under this Addendum, counted together with Referral Commissions. The Creator's
Helper's share under §2.2 and §2.3(b) is the one exception to the single-level statements of Plan §1.1, §1.2, §2
("Single Level"), §5.2, §5.3 and §12, and to the corresponding statements of the Affiliate Agreement, the Terms of Service
and the Income Disclosure Statement, which are amended to that extent: it is paid only on Creator Modules, only to the one
Affiliate who referred the Creator into the UpWeForge universe, only from the Net Profit of real Members' paid purchases,
and never on any further level. Company Accounts earn no Referral Commission and no share.
2.6 A Collective of Creators. Where a Module is a collection of works by many Creators (such as The Greatest Stories
Ever Told, the collection of Members' books), its Net Profit for each calendar quarter forms one pool, shared under
§2.3(b) collectively: one third (1/3) divided equally among the Creators whose works were in the collection on the
last day of that quarter; one third (1/3) divided among those Creators' Helpers, each Helper receiving the share that
corresponds to each Creator the Helper referred; and one third (1/3) to the Treasury. No share depends on how often a work
is read, and no reading is tracked for this purpose. A work is placed in the collection only by its Creator, and may be
withdrawn by its Creator at any time.
2.7 Quarterly payment. Creator and Helper shares of a collection are calculated and paid once per calendar quarter. A
share of less than ten U.S. dollars (US$10) for a quarter is carried forward to the next quarter and is never forfeited
for its size; carried amounts remain subject to Plan §14.2.
2.8 How Module shares are paid. Referral Commissions on Company Modules, and Creator and Helper shares, are paid in
the same way as NorthStar Referral Commissions under the NorthStar Addendum §3.1 and §3.3–§3.5: received by the Company
through Stripe and paid by transfer to each recipient's verified connected account, subject to the same hold, timing and
recovery; Plan §8.1 is read accordingly for Modules. Creator and Helper shares of a collection are paid quarterly under
§2.7.
3. The Member's Affiliate Serves First; the Unanswered Request ↑
3.1 The Member's Affiliate serves first. A Member's referring Affiliate (the "Member's Affiliate") is the Member's
point of service for every Product and Module of the UpWeForge universe. A Member may purchase any Product or Module at
any time; the Member's Affiliate's Referral Commission then applies under §2 (Products and Company Modules). No other
Affiliate earns by presenting a Product or Module to a Member they did not refer, except under §3.4.
3.2 A timed request. A Member who wants to be served about a Product or Module may send the Member's Affiliate a request through
the Company's platform. The Member's Affiliate has thirty (30) days to answer; any reply within that time is an answer.
3.3 The rotation. If the Member's Affiliate does not answer within thirty days, the Member may ask the platform to assign another
Affiliate, chosen at random, with no preference, from the Affiliates who have completed the Company's free learning
material for that Product or Module and marked themselves ready to be asked, and who serve in the Member's language (the "Pool"), the Member's Affiliate excluded;
Company Accounts are never in a Pool. If the Member's Affiliate no longer holds an account, the Member may ask for the rotation at once. The
assigned Affiliate has fifteen (15) days to answer; if they do not, the Member may ask again and another Affiliate is
chosen at random.
3.4 That one line. An Affiliate who answers an assigned request becomes the referring Affiliate for that one Product
or Module, for as long as the Member keeps paying for it; every other attribution stays with the Member's Affiliate.
The Member's Affiliate is told in plain words when this happens. The requests, their times, and the answers are the record.
3.5 Three unanswered assignments. An Affiliate who leaves three assigned requests unanswered (counted since their last return to
the Pool) rests from that Product's or Module's Pool for three (3) months the first time, six (6) months the second time, then three months again,
then six, alternating; each time they return automatically, and are told when and why.
3.6 No purchase to serve. Being in a Pool requires only completing its free learning material. No purchase,
subscription, or payment is ever required to be in a Pool, to receive an assignment, or to earn under this section. One
level only: nothing here pays on the purchases of persons referred by the Member.
4. Promotion ↑
4.1 Affiliates may describe a Module and its value. Affiliates may not promote the Program as recruitment, may not state
or imply income from building a network, and may not use any Module in an earnings claim (Affiliate Agreement; Income
Disclosure Statement).
5. Privacy ↑
5.1 A Module that sends any Member data outside the Member's device is off by default, and is enabled only by the
Member's explicit choice after reading the Module's privacy sheet (what data, to whom, for what, for how long). Voice,
image, or other biometric-like data require separate, specific consent.
5.2 Before any Module processes personal information of a kind the Privacy Policy does not describe, the Privacy Policy
is updated to describe it.
6. Notice, effect and languages ↑
6.1 This Addendum takes effect on the effective date stated above, which is no earlier than the date on which notice of
it is given electronically to each Affiliate at the contact on file and to Members within the Services. It does not apply
to amounts already Earned.
6.2 This Addendum is published in English and in Spanish. If the two versions differ, the English version controls.
